This is the official Lunkers Unlimited Bass Fishing Club Homepage. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (or as
posted) at 7:00 PM in the Mokena VFW Hall, 19852 Wolf Rd. Mokena, IL. Stop by and say hello.
Lunkers Unlimited was originally Chartered in 1970. Since its inception, Lunkers has sought to develop fishing skills,
organize serious minded bass fishermen, and promote conservation. Lunkers has survived where other bass clubs
have failed because the club is more than just a tournament club. The structure of the organization is geared not only to
serious bass fishermen, but also incorporates a myriad of family social events. The family associations help to weld
close personal friendships that preclude "at any cost" tournament mentalities.
Fund raisers are designed to defray cost, promote fishing education, and encourage young anglers.
The club, which averages between a 30 - 40 man roster, also attributes its longevity to the camaraderie fostered by
attendance and participation requirements. Genuine friendships are promoted through the clubs extra curricular
activities making the tournament trail a serious, but friendly competition.
The tournament trail begins in late March or early April and culminates with the Jerry Gorman Memorial Classic held in
October. Trophies are awarded each month for first through third places and Big Bass for the Saturday/Sunday two day
tournaments. Creative tournament committees arrange for a variety of interesting/challenging draw formats that
promote fairness and give everyone a shot at placing.

There are no mandatory tournament fees, although there is a $15 voluntary pot.

- Candidates must attend (1) general meeting and (2) board meetings prior to acceptance.
- A boat is not required, we have an abundance
- Active participation is required
Costs:
- $25.00 - One time entry fee
- $20.00 per month dues

- Year end bonanza
- Family Picnic and outings
- Awards Banquet/Dance
